Generation Y Makes its Presence Felt in the Workplace
The 20 something Generation Y workforce is teaching its older coworkers a thing or three about the value of strong communication skills. This newest generation to reach the workforce in strong numbers has grown up with email, text messaging, chat rooms, and a host of other technologies that previous were unavailable. As a result, this group craves more feedback on how they can improve their performance. Many employers are beginning to realize the benefit of this increased communication and subsequent increased team-building consensus.
